So am I!
I've called Granger home since 1996, when my family moved here just before I started middle school. I was part of the very first 7th grade class at Discovery Middle School, and this community has been home ever since.
Today, my husband, Dan, and I are raising our three kids here, too.
Granger is where I load my camera bags before heading to a birth. It's where I come home after photographing a brand-new baby. And it's the community that keeps me connected to so many of the families I have the privilege of serving throughout Michiana.
While my studio is located in nearby Bremen, Granger is my home. It's where I meet moms at the grocery store, cheer from the sidelines at kids' activities, and run into past clients whose babies are suddenly headed off to kindergarten.
I know how quickly these years pass because I'm living them, too. That's why I'm passionate about making it easy for families to preserve this season—not just with beautiful photographs, but with artwork that becomes part of everyday life in your home.
Whether I'm heading to a hospital for a birth, welcoming a newborn into my Bremen studio, or helping a family choose the artwork they'll enjoy every day, it all begins right here in Granger.
Why Granger Familes Make the Drive
My studio is about a 30-minute drive from Granger, and my clients tell me it's well worth it.
Before I had a dedicated studio, every session meant packing my entire business into my car, setting everything up when I arrived, and tearing it all back down before I headed home.
Now, everything is ready before you walk through the door.
The wraps are folded. The props are in place. The lighting is set. My client closet is waiting if you'd like help choosing something to wear.
Because this is my own private studio, we're never watching the clock.
If your baby needs extra cuddles or a feeding break, that's okay. If an evening appointment works best for your family's schedule, we can do that too.
The studio also gives us a comfortable place to plan what happens after your session. Instead of sending you home with hundreds of digital files and wishing you luck, I can show you framed artwork, albums, and heirloom pieces in person so you can choose what fits your home and your family best.
The drive to Bremen isn't just about coming to a studio.
It's about having a space where every detail is prepared for you, so you can simply enjoy the experience with your family.
