Session Planning
Session Planning is a creative planning conversation where we shape the vision for your photo session together. We'll talk through the story you want your images to tell, the emotions you hope to capture, and all the meaningful details—from location and style to wardrobe and special moments. It’s a relaxed, collaborative time to make sure your session feels true to you, so when photo day arrives, everything flows naturally and beautifully. This usually looks like a one hour conversation either over zoom or in person. Coffee is usually involved.

The Shoot
Next comes the shoot day—the heart of it all. With our plan in place, you can simply show up and be present while I guide you through a relaxed, meaningful experience. Whether we’re capturing the quiet anticipation before birth, the sweet chaos of family life, or the first precious days with your newborn, I’ll be there to document it all with care and intention. My job is to hold space for your story to unfold—authentically, beautifully, and in a way that feels effortless to you.

I take a limited number of births each month
to ensure full on-call coverage,
so checking availability early in pregnancy is recommended.

Viewing & Ordering
After your session, we’ll meet again for your viewing and ordering appointment—a time to slow down, relive the moments, and choose how you’d like to preserve them. I’ll guide you through your gallery, help you narrow down favorites, and show you print and product options designed to bring your images to life. Whether you envision a custom album, wall art, or a collection of heirloom prints, we’ll create something beautiful and lasting together—something your family will cherish for years to come.
